Warehouse Services is committed to recycling surplus for the UNCG campus. Surplus is any property owned by UNCG is that is no longer needed by your department. Surplus property is available by transfer to campus departments and state agencies. These items are also available to the general public through our Public Surplus Sales. Surplus property is recycled FREE of CHARGE to UNCG Departments.
No items may be donated to outside agencies per General Statute (GS 143.61 Title 3A) and North Carolina Administrative Code (01 NCAC 43A). State Property cannot be donated by anyone other than the Governor, and only in the event of a declared disaster. UNCG, State Surplus and the Department of Administration does not have the authority to donate property. The disposition of property by any other method is done only with the authority of State Surplus.
All patrons are expected to treat each other with respect at all times.
No running is allowed in the warehouse.
Items are sold for CASH only, no checks.
Items are sold “as is where is” and all sales are final.
Items must be removed at time of purchase or larger items by appointment not to exceed the Wednesday following the sale date.
Failure to pick up sale items by the following Wednesday will result in the item becoming the property of University Surplus.
